In this project we study Dia de los Muertos in Spanish class. Before I studied this project I did not know anything about the Dia de los Muertos. After we study the Dia de los Muertos I know this is a special celebration. This is a Mexican celebration. The celebration is on November 2. This holiday is to honor the dead. Many families build altars for the dead. The altars are called "offerings." Many people visit cemeteries. During this celebration.
In this project I honor my grandfather. In this project I make a thing called ofrenda, in the ofrenda I talk about what is his name and what he likes to do, where he is from and how old is my grandfather when he is dead. I also added an image to the ofrenda about where he is from. The thing I wish to add in the ofrenda is an image of my grandfather. And I should have more things about what he likes.
The big takeaway from this project is I learned about Dia de los Muertos. And I learn more Spanish.
